In tropical climates like Indonesia, a high-ceilinged house is an excellent choice. The large volume in the room makes air circulation work well. Visually, it looks even wider. Far from being cramped and claustrophobic.
But on the other hand, not a few people don't like houses with high ceilings. The reason is that the volume of space that is too large leaves an empty and empty impression. Usually, homeowners install hanging decorative lights to beautify the interior of a high-ceilinged house. However, the installation of this lamp has not been able to close the empty impression.
How to get rid of the empty impression on a high-ceilinged house? The architects have built several high-ceilinged house projects. The results are stunning. There is no empty impression in any of their works.
1. Expose framework
In general, the roof frame of the house is covered by a ceiling so that it cannot be seen. But in this house, the roof frame made of wood is left open so that it can be seen clearly. The combination of the lines between the roof frame and the house frame gives the impression of an attractive game of lines. Moreover, the roof frame and building frame have the same color.

At the front, window glass is used to replace the role of the wall. The result is quite awe-inspiring, very unique and beautiful.
The use of windows as the front wall is feasible to be applied to buildings with high ceilings. You can enjoy a very clear panorama of the garden from inside the house even though it's raining outside.
